What a cool place! Outdoor gear shop and eatery all in one. They have lots of pastries, breads, and meals. The food is delicious! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. If you are going through Buena Vista, I would highly recommend stopping and supporting this wonderful local business.
Nice spot that we stopped at for lunch in Buena Vista. A little pricey but the food and service were good. We split the burger and chicken sandwich. Both were good but the chicken was a little dry. The carrot coconut soup was good but tasted more like a summer squash soup than coconuts or carrots. Regardless I would recommend it, especially the burger and will stop in again next time I’m down in that beautiful part of Colorado.
The food was delicious. The service was great considering how busy they were on a Wednesday afternoon. No complaints from a family of 9. I recommend the Blackberry Basil was delicious. They had wonderful gluten free options.
We stopped in while driving through and am so glad we did! Really nice staff and amazing food. We got soup, pasta, sandwhich and dessert. Everything was great but oh man, that curry soup 👌 all I can say is, I wish we lived closer. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Stopping by Simple Eatery for lunch was such a wonderful surprise! Every single item we ordered hit the mark: Mac & Cheese: Exceptionally creamy and packed with flavor. Sourdough Grilled Cheese: A total winner—even picky eater approved! Cubano Sandwich: Hands down the best Cubano I’ve ever had. Pretzels: We ended up taking some pretzels home, and they were just as delicious later on. If you’re passing through or staying in Buena Vista, don't miss this spot. We will definitely be back next time we’re in town!

I ordered the mojo pork Benny and a hazy IPA. The Benny was one of the best Benny’s I have ever had the pork was seasoned perfectly! Beautiful views to go with the delicious breakfast!
Very good food at this place. The place is also a bakery so all of their bread appears to me made there. The full sandwich with a side of a ton of food. I had the Cuban sandwich, it was really good and tasted fresh and delicious. The side salad I got was a house salad and I would just suggest an extra side of ranch. This place has a great patio area with some outdoor games too. Would comeback for sure if and when I am in the area.
Noting simple at simple eats!! My tastebuds exploded when I bite into the delicious chedder and brockoli soup, Cuban sandwich and even the kanboucha with grapefruit it was so tasty and delicious so that’s exactly what I meant when I said that it’s not simple! It’s so simple to have a mazing food here and have it taste So good abs it’s really that simple. I also got a lofe of the tear apart pretzel bread and sourdough and yes I did tear it away ans apard because it was so yummy. Next time I’ll order it with extra cheese bc it’s simply that good. Not playing on the name too be negative though whe. I keep saying simple because it’s just the perfect work to describe the whole place! Enjoy, rate, follow me for more adventurous! This place is our favourite restaurant in all of Buena Vista. The soups are made from scratch and incredibly delicious. Get the bowl size. We tasted the carrot ginger and tomato bisque and had a hard time choosing a favorite. We paired it with a pretzel board that we shared. Each one comes with beer cheese and honey mustard sauce. This combo was the most delicious meal ever, especially after a long hike and we went back four times in week. The prices were super reasonable - especially if you share a soup bowl and a pretzel board. FYI- hours are 8 am - 4 pm and there is usually a lineup but it moves fast and the service is great. Well done guys 🙌🙌🙌
